Murray Reservoir Fishing Report

Fishing is still fairly slo here at Lake Murray but there are multiple anglers that are catching anywhere from 7-10 fish daily. The bass have seemed to move more into the shallows where as before they were down about 45 feet. Most of the anglers that are doing well have moved to fishing the tulles/reeds with drop shot rigs and senoks. But they are also doing really using swimbaits and smaller soft plastic swimbaits like Megabass Dark Sleeper. We have also been seeing more and more of a jig bite in the past week or so with quality bass being caught on Finesse jigs and small crawdad imitations. Bluegill and crappie fishing continues to be phenomenal with anglers catching limits daily. Most bluegill have been caught using crickets, mealworms, or red worms on drop shot. And the crappie have been mainly caught on crappie shiners or jigs.
