WE ARE OPEN EVERY DAY AT 6 AM. CLOSING TIME FOR SHORE FISHING IS 7:30 PM.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 WILL BE THE O.P. BALL MEMORIAL "FISHIN IN THE PINES" FREE KIDS DERBY.
This is an annual event and we are planning a fun day for all kids that come to the lake. There will be goody bags for each kiddo. A free day of fishing for all kids from four to fifteen years of age. San Diego Anglers will be cooking up a great hot dog lunch with all the trimmings. Great prizes for the biggest trout in each of three age groups. Stay tuned for more info as we get closer to the Derby date.

Best Spots: T Dock, middle of the lake

Notables:

- Larry Sargent of Redding caught 1 large trout and 3 catfish while trolling the lake.
- Albert Perez took a 47 inch, 30 pound Sturgeon from a boat near Heron Point.
- Daniel, age 6, of Ramona, went home with 5 crappie all caught from the TDock. He came back the next day and caught 5 more.

THE FREE FISHING CLASS IS ON SATURDAY AT 10 AM. MEET RANGER CHARLIE AT THE LAUNCH RAMP.

THE DECONTAMINATION WASH DOWN IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE VESSELS BEFORE A LAUNCH. A FEE IS CHARGED.
