Rising water temps have the bass in full spring mode. Finesse techniques have worked well for mostly bucks in the 1.5, to 2.5 range, with the occasional 3lb to 6lber coming in as well. Panfish have yet to show, but that should develop soon. Catfish went unreported to the concession last week.

It was a solid bass bite all of last week, with most anglers reporting double digit numbers.  The majority of the fish are bucks in the 1.5lb to 3lb. range, as well as the occasional 4lb to 5lb. kicker. The bass bite has been getting better by the day here, as more and more fish are moving up on the bank. Most of the largemouth are 1.5 lbs. to 2 lbs. bucks with the occasional 3 to 5 pound female showing as well. Finesse techniques have been producing the best as well as jerk baits and small swimbaits.
