It was a solid bass bite all of last week, with most anglers reporting double digit numbers.  The majority of the fish are bucks in the 1.5lb to 3lb. range, as well as the occasional 4lb to 5lb. kicker. Finesse techniques are accounting for most of the catches, as well as jigs, small swimbaits. Panfish have yet to make their presence known, but should be showing with some warmer water temps. The bass bite has been getting better by the day here, as more and more fish are moving up on the bank. Most of the largemouth are 1.5 lbs. to 2 lbs. bucks with the occasional 3 to 5 pound female showing as well. Finesse techniques have been producing the best as well as jerk baits and small swimbaits.
