The bass fishing picked up this week, despite the sudden change of weather. The bass, bluegill and crappie are on beds now. Anglers reported double digit catches all weekend. The most success was drop shot, Texas rig and ned rig. Some reports of jerk baits as well.

The bass are bedding but the females aren’t up on the beds yet, only the males. With the water temperature at 60 degrees it won’t be long. The fishing was really good on Wednesday and Saturday but slowed down some on Sunday, due to rain. The majority of reports from anglers was dropshoting slow/finesse and some reaction bites.
