  • The Polaris Supreme returned from a 1.5 Day with 22 Bluefin up to 180lbs! It was an excellent grade of fish. Captain Aliyar reported that the 200-300g jigs were working best. Be sure to have an assortment of sizes for your upcoming trips. Our Seaforth Landing Tackle Shop is fully stocked!

  • The Pacifica also returned from a 1.5 Day with 8 Bluefin up to 175lbs.

Full Day Yellowtail & Quality Over Quantity Bluefin

The San Diego wrapped up their Full Day trip with 43 Yellowtail for their 34 anglers. They did have a shot at some big Bluefin today but were unable to land the few fish they connected with. Captain Ryan recommends having a 25/30# outfit for fishing the paddies and also having a 60# rig with some 80-100# leader to prevent those big Bluefin from chewing through your leader.
