The bass have been in that resting phase after the spawn the last couple of weeks. There have been some reports of some aggressive males going after the fry and top water reports this week though. Anglers reported doing well on swimbaits, drop shots and even some frog bites on Wednesday.

With the weather cooling down, the bluegill have postponed the spawn again and the males have stopped cleaning off the beds. Huge bluegill are being caught in about 50 feet of water, bit not many females are present yet.
