Update 2:15 PM The San Diego just called in from their Full Day with 20+ Bluefin on the boat. Captain Ryan stated that their fish are in the 20-50 pound range but they have also seen some bigger grade fish around as well. They have been getting bites on the 40# flyline, 100g dart style jigs, and on the sinker rig with a 4 oz torpedo sinker. If you are going out in the next week or so it would be a good idea to bring a 40#-60# rig along with your 25#-30# rig and the 80-100#.
Captain Tanner just checked in from the Polaris Supreme 1.5 Day with limits of Bluefin Tuna. Most of the fish are in the 40-50lb range, with a handful of larger models.
The Tribute returned from a 1.5 Day this morning with 16 Bluefin up to 165lbs. They have space available on tonight's 1.5 Day. Book online or give us a call at 619-224-3383.
