Heavy boat traffic over the weekend slowed the bite a bit, although during the week the bass action was fair to good. The grass on the bank is starting hold more fish, flukes, topwaters, and jigs were productive for the largies up tight, drop shot, shakey head, ned rig, etc. got bit in 20' to 30' of water. Bluegill are still coming in, but were mostly in the 1/4lb. to 1/2lb. range. Crawlers, crickets, and red worms were the top bait choices for the 'gills. Catfish went unreported to to the concession last week.

Not much has changed here, the bass have been scattered from 2' to 30' of water. The majority of the action has been coming from the deeper fish, which have been taking finesse presentations. Up on the bank it's been flukes, and jigs, as well as the occasional frog fish. Bluegill made a good showing again, and have been falling for drop shot meal worms, red worms, and nightcrawlers. The bass bite here just keeps on rolling, with most anglers reporting double digit numbers for their efforts. It's been mostly cookie cutter fish in the 1lb. to 2lb. range that have been scattered from 1' to 30' of water. Shallow fish have been biting flukes, small swimbaits, as well as some topwater.
