The bass bite was fair at best last week, most guys having to put in work to scratch out a limit of 1lb. to 2lb. fish. There are silversides all over the place, but no fish on them as of yet. Hopefully this will turn around soon. Still some bluegil coming in on drop shot nightcrawlers, but most of the panfish are handsize. Catfish went unreported to the concession last week.

In the a.m. hours there has been some spots of breaking fish here and there, but nothing consistent as of yet. The lake has actually come up a couple of feet, so the grass that once was on the surface is slightly submerged. Small swimbaits, and flukes fished in these ares has produced.
