Jaelin ( age 6) from San Diego was fishing at Lower Otay on 3/11 and landed this 1.8 lb. Bluegill on mackerel at the dock. 3rd fish caught at Otay!

We're getting closer to the Bass pre-spawn here at Lower Otay. After a tough couple of weeks of them being suspended.Anglers are reporting that the Bass are in the grass and tullie stretches in about 5-10 feet of water, just outside the pockets. The majority of reports have been Dropshot with Roboworms. The water level is high and the visibility is low, but improving daily. Boat rentals are 25% off on Wednesdays!
