The Independence checked in this morning from their 1.75 day trip. Capt Matt reported in with 86 Bluefin for the trip so far. These fish are in the 20 to 40 lbs range and were caught within one day range from San Diego.

Local fishing trip:

The ½ day boat Daily Double departs time at 8:30 AM for local trips to the kelp beds and other hot spots.  Click here to book (Schedule)

The full day boat Mission Belle has trips to the Coronado Islands departing daily at 6:00 am. The Belle will be targeting Yelowtail, bass and Rockfish. A valid passport or passport card is required for all passengers going on this trip. (Schedule)

If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return back to the dock.
