  • The San Diego ended their day today with 28 Bonito, 18 Yellowtail and 2 Bluefin, one weighing in at 60 pounds and the other 80 pounds, for their 32 anglers. Captain Ryan reported they had good opportunities and were seeing bigger Bluefin in the 50-80# range. He recommended having a 25-30# flyline setup, a 40-50# setup for casting dart style jigs and a 60-80# rig for fishing the sinker rig if you're coming out fishing soon.

  • What a weekend for the fleet! Conditions are heating up and everything from our Full Day to Multi-Day trips returned this morning with good numbers of Bluefin to go around:

    • The Pacifica returned with 42(limits) Bluefin for their 21 anglers.

    • The Pacific Voyager returned with 32(limits) Bluefin and 27 Yellowtail for their 16 anglers.

    • The Aztec ended their day with 33 Bluefin for their 27 anglers.
