Daily Double • 1/2 Day AM • 14 anglers • 35 Rockfish, 12 Calico Bass, 8 Barred Sand Bass
New Lo-An • 2 Day • 23 anglers • 14 Bluefin Tuna (up to 80 pounds)
The fleet has been seeing good signs of Bluefin Tuna offshore and have had some nice hits of quality Yellowtail as well. These are not your cookie cutter Yellows, but some nice fish from 15 - 30lbs! The BFT have been a bit finicky, so make sure to be prepared with some Flouro and lighter line, but make sure to bring your heavy gear as well as there are some quality fish being caught. Best to be as prepared as possible for any situation!
Local trips:
The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing everyday at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation.
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail and Bonito.
