The Bluefin are starting to bite again and we have many trips with light loads and many of them are Definite Go.
The weather looks amazing with week, so this is your chance to get on the boats with light loads and few tangles.

Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending a 30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Dolphin PM 1/2 day trip caught 81 Rockfish, 2 Calico Bass, 2 Sculpin, and 1 Lingcod for their private charter.

The Liberty caught 3 Bluefin and 102 Yellowtail for 27 anglers on their full day trip.

The Dolphin AM 1/2 Day trip caught LIMITS (270) of Rockfish for 27 anglers.

The Islander returned this morning with 17 Bluefin Tuna for 12 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. 

The Condor returned this morning with 13 Bluefin Tuna (60 to 100 lbs.) for 10 anglers on a 2 day trip. 

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with 61 Bluefin Tuna (25-30 lbs.) for 33 anglers on a 1.5 day trip.

The Dolphin PM trip had 39 rockfish, 4 calico bass, and 2 sand bass on a private charter.

The Dolphin AM 1/2 Day trip called in with LIMITS (240) of Rockfish for 24 anglers. 

The Liberty called in with 25 Bluefin Tuna (20lbs to 30lbs) for 19 anglers on their full day trip. Recommending 30lbs to 40lbs outfits with number 1 hooks. 

The Pegasus Returned this morning with 31 Bluefin Tuna (30 -100 lbs) for their 21 anglers on a 1.5 day trip.
