Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending

50lb flyline with a #1 mutu or a 1/0 mutu circle hook

30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Liberty called in with 72 Bluefin and 20 Yellowfin for their Fullday trip with 40 anglers.

The Dolphin PM trip caught 32 Rockfish for their private charter.

The Dolphin AM trip caught 242 Rockfish for 32 anglers.

The Islander returned this morning with 51 Bluefin Tuna (50 to 180 lbs.) for 20 anglers on a 2.5 day trip. 

The Condor returned this morning with 38 Bluefin Tuna (10 @ 100-180 lbs) for their 1.5 day trip for their 22 anglers. 

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with LIMITS (30) of Bluefin Tuna (60 to 140 lbs.) for 15 anglers on a 1.5 day charter.

The Liberty returned this morning with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna ( 25 @ 80 -150lbs) for 20 anglers for 2 day trip.

The Pacific Dawn returned this morning with 20 Bluefin Tuna for 12 anglers on their 1.5 day trip.

The Tomahawk returned this morning with 24 Bluefin Tuna ( 1/2 @ 80 -150lbs) for 28 anglers on a 2 day trip.

The Fortune returned this morning with 20 Bluefin tuna (8 @ 100-120 lbs) from their 2 day trip for 13 anglers.

The Pegasus returned this morning with LIMITS (14) of Bluefin Tuna (70 - 170lbs) for 7 anglers for their 1.5 day trip.
