Sunday morning update:
The Oceanside 95 returned from a 1.5 day trip with 12 Yellowfin Tuna and 8 Bluefin Tuna for 33 anglers.
The New Lo-An returned from a 2 day trip with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (72) for 18 anglers. These fish are 30-110 lbs.
The Success is returning from a 2.5 day trip with 19 Bluefin Tuna and 4 Yellowtail for 10 anglers.
The T-Bird is returning from a 1.5 day trip with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna and 5 Yellowfin Tuna for 14 anglers.
The Primitime is headed back to the dock with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (16) for 8 anglers on a 1.5 day trip.
The El Capitan called in Saturday night with 1st day LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna and a few Yellowfin Tuna to start out their 2 day trip!
The Daily Double has plenty of spots left on this afternoond p.m. run. The boat departs at 3:00. Fishing on the p.m. trip has been very good. (BOOK HERE)

The 2023 schedules for the El Capitan, New Lo-An, Oceanside 95 and T-Bird are now available online. Bluefin Tuna from 40# to 100# are biting in 1.5 day range. You can book your reservation through the following links:

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would inclued a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knfie jigs.
Local trips:
The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing everyday at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation.
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail and Bonito. Recommended tackle would be a bait rod with 25# or 30#, a jig rod with 40# or 50# and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100#. Shimano Flat Falls, Colt Snipers, Daiwa SK jigs, Salas 6Xjr’s or Tady 9’s are all excellent jigs for this trip. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)

If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return back to the dock. 7-15-2023The Point Loma reported 2 Bluefin Tuna and one Yellowfin Tuna for their full-day trip. The Primetime called in this afternoon reporting LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna for their 1.5 day trip.
