Monday Afternoon Report:
The Daily Double returned from their AM 1/2 Day trip with 32 Anglers. They caught 11 Calico Bass, 31 Sandbass, 9 Rockfish, and 4 Sheephead.
Monday Morning Report:
The New Lo-An returned from a 2.5 day trip with 39 Bluefin Tuna (20-150 lbs) for 20 anglers.
The Success returned from a 3 day trip with 34 Bluefin Tuna for 10 anglers.

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.
Local trips:
The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing everyday at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation.
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail and Bonito. Recommended tackle would be a bait rod with 25# or 30#, a jig rod with 40# or 50# and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100#. Shimano Flat Falls, Colt Snipers, Daiwa SK jigs, Salas 6Xjr’s or Tady 9’s are all excellent jigs for this trip. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)

If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return back to the dock.
