Saturday Update:

The Point Loma called in with 18 Yellowtail and 24 Dorado for their Full Day Offshore trip. 

The Mission Belle just called in with 2 Bluefin Tuna and 2 Dorado for their Full Day Offshore trip. 

The T-Bird called in with 1 Bluefin Tuna, 1 Yellowtail and 15 Dorado for their 1 Day Overnight trip. 

The Daily Double returned with 71 Sand Bass and 2 Sculpin for their AM 1/2 day trip. 



Friday fish counts:

The Daily Double came back from their PM 1/2 day trip with 42 Calico Bass, 5 Sand Bass, 10 Rockfish, 1 Cabezon and 31 Sheephead. 

The Point Loma called in with 2 Yellowfin Tuna and 1 Dorado for their Full Day Offshore trip. 

The Mission Belle called in with 20 Yellowtail, 1 Calico Bass and 4 Rockfish for their Full Day Coronado Islands trip. 

The Success called in with 66 Yellowtail for their 2 day private charter. 

The New Lo-An called in with 29 Dorado and 7 Yellowtail. 

The Daily Double came back from their AM 1/2 day trip with 62 Calico Bass, 4 Sand Bass and 7 Rockfish. 

The El Capitan called in with 22 nice sized Dorado and one 20+ pound Yellowtail for their 1 Day Offshore trip.

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.


 
Local trips:

The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing everyday at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation.
 
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail and Bonito. Recommended tackle would be a bait rod with 25# or 30#, a jig rod with 40# or 50# and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100#. Shimano Flat Falls, Colt Snipers, Daiwa SK jigs, Salas 6Xjr’s or Tady 9’s are all excellent jigs for this trip. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip(Schedule)





FISH PROCESSING RESERVATIONS 
If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return back to the dock.
