The T-Bird called in to report limits of Bluefin Tuna (50), 1 Yellowtail, 16 Bonito, and 100 Rockfish on their 1.5 Day trip with 25 anglers.


The Daily Double caught 10 Bluefin Tuna, 8 Dorado, and 3 Yellowtail on their Full-Day trip with 25 anglers.


The Mission Belle called in with limits of Bluefin Tuna (50), 2 Yellowfin Tuna, 12 Dorado, and 10 Yellowtail for their Full-Day trip with 25 anglers.


The Oceanside 95 called in with 57 Bluefin Tuna, 29 Yellowfin Tuna, 17 Dorado, and 5 Yellowtail for an excellent Overnight trip with 32 anglers.


NEW TRIP ADDED:

The Independence has a 1.75 day trip departing on Monday, August 21st. Ticket price is $850.00 and includes meals. This trip will be fishing offshore for Bluefin Tuna. To book this trip, please call Michelle at (619) 226-6006. You can also book online through the following link (Book Now)

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.


 
Local trips:

The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing everyday at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation.
 
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail and Bonito. Recommended tackle would be a bait rod with 25# or 30#, a jig rod with 40# or 50# and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100#. Shimano Flat Falls, Colt Snipers, Daiwa SK jigs, Salas 6Xjr’s or Tady 9’s are all excellent jigs for this trip. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip(Schedule)





FISH PROCESSING RESERVATIONS 
If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return back to the dock. The Daily Double came back from their Full Day trip with 110 Rockfish for their private charter.  The Mission Belle reported 5 Yellowtail, 57 Whitefish, 24 Rockfish, and 5 Calico Bass for their Full Day trip with 23 anglers.  The Point Loma returned from their AM 1/2 Day trip with 33 Rockfish, 5 Sculpin, and 4 Whitefish for 17 anglers. Thursday Morning Update: The New Lo-An returned from a 3 day trip with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (108) up to 150 pounds and 2 yellowtail for their 18 anglers.
