Monday Afternoon Update:
The Mission Belle called in with 25 Yellowfin Tuna, 11 Bluefin Tuna, and 1 Dorado on their Full Day charter with 24 anglers.
The Oceanside 95 called in from their 1.5 day trip with 10 Bluefin Tuna (30-80 lbs) with plenty of fishing time left. Check back for more updates......
The New Lo-An returned from a 2.5 day trip with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (88) and 20 Yellowtail for 22 anglers. 15 of the Bluefin weighed in between 150-200lbs.
Upcoming trips:
The Point Loma has full day trip departing Tuesday to Friday this week. These trips will be fishing offshore for tuna, Yellowtail and Dorado. No passport required. Ticket price is $240 and includes a Mexican fishing permit. Departure time is 6 AM. Trips are limited to 18 passengers (BOOK HERE)
The El Capitan has an overnight trip departing on Thursday (9-14-23) at 8pm. This is a DEFINITE GO!!! Price is $375 and includes meals and a mexican permit. (BOOK HERE)
The Daily Double has an afternoon 1/2 day trips departing this Friday (9/15/23). Departure time is 3 PM and will be headed out ot the local kelp beds. (Book now)

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.
Local trips:
The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing every day at 8:30 AM. They have been fishing in the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation. (Schedule)
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail and Dorado. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)
FISH PROCESSING RESERVATIONS
If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return to the dock. Saturday Update: The Daily Double PM 1/2 day returned with 45 Sand Bass, 15 Rockfish, and 63 Sculpin. The Point Loma returned from their Full Day private Coronado Islands charter with 45 Whitefish, 25 Rockfish, 6 Sculpin, 6 Calico Bass, 6 Sand Bass, 1 Lingcod and 1 Sheephead. The Mission Belle came back with 10 Dorado, and1 Bluefin Tuna. The Daily Double AM 1/2 day returned with 12 Calico Bass, 24 Sand Bass, 16 Rockfish, 10 Sheephead and 15 Sculpin.
