Mike Loust from the Pacific Dawn provided an update today:

Just a heads-up, every weekend we'll be conducting Baja Freelance trips, cruising along the coast offshore. Our targets include Rockfish, Yellowtail, and Bluefin Tuna. Tuna will be our main focus during the journey down, so early departures are essential. That's the plan for this weekend.

Last weekend, we reached our limits on Reds, caught some Lingcod and Sheephead, and landed three Yellowtail weighing 28 pounds each. We hooked six in total, landing three.

We'll be departing this weekend and every subsequent weekend. Plan to leave at 2 PM, arrive early to allow ample time for departure.
