Great fishing right now! Bluefin Tuna are within 50 to 60 miles. All of them ranging from 50lb to 180lbs! Heavy loss due to light gear. You must have a rail rod, a mininum 100lb line! You can always rent with us. We cannot stress this enough to bring the right set up for the BIG BLUEFIN TUNA!

If you plan on going on a Full Day trip or longer make sure you have a 40# or 50# flyline outfit and a 80# outfit for jigs or a sinker rig. Also make sure you have 10 to 16oz sinkers and 120 to 400 gram knife jigs or Midnight Riders aka Tuna bombs.

The Liberty is seeing great signs of Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail, and Bonito.

The Dolphin AM trip had 4 calico bass, 39 rockfish, 1 sheephead, and 65 calico bass released for 38 anglers.

The Dolphin PM trip had 36 rockfish, 24 calico bass, 2 sheephead, 1 sculpin, and 50 calico bass released on a private charter.

The Liberty Coronado Islands trip had 4 yellowtail, 40 calico bass, 7 sand bass, 1 barracuda, and 1 trigger fish on a full day privaate charter.

The Condor called in 5 Bluefin Tuna (4 over 100lbs) for 17 anglers on their 2 day trip.

The Shogun returned this morning with 34 Bluefin Tuna for their 1.5 day trip. 

The Pacific Dawn returned this morning with 35 Bluefin tuna (15 between 100 and 180 lbs.) for 12 anglers on day 2 of their 2 day trip. 

The Tomahawk returned with 25 Bluefin tuna for 22 anglers on a 1.5 day trip.

The Dolpin AM trip caught 93 Rockfish for 12 anglers.

The Dolphin PM trip had 27 calico bass, 26 rockfish, 2 sheephead, and 1 sculpin for an afternoon charter.


The Shogun called in with 17 Bluefin Tuna for for 24 anglers on day 1 of their 1.5 day trip.

The Condor is returning this morning with 23 Bluefin Tunas (21 over 100 lbs) for their 2 day trip with 13 anglers aboard.

The Pegasus is returning this morning with 66 Bluefin Tuna (39 over 100 lbs. and 2 over 200 lbs.) for 15 anglers on a 3 day trip. 

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with 57 Bluefin Tuna (26 over 100 lbs.) for 23 anglers on a 3 day trip.
