Crappie are still being caught in decent numbers at the Crappie Float, near Bass Point, and by boaters trolling, or drifting, for them. They are most often caught on mini-jigs or live golden shiners.

The final catfish plant of the season went in yesterday. Look for a strong bite in Boat Dock Cove and along Senior Shoreline through the weekend. Lake Wohlford cats prefer cut mackerel, shrimp, or chicken liver.
