Hello everyone! Todays spotlight is on this young gentleman who caught his biggest bass so far the other day! Solid catch!

 

The catfish season is nearing an end with only three more catfish stocks left. We will be stocking Lakes 3 and 4 tomorrow, as one of the last two regular stocking dates left. September 14th and 15th will be Stockzilla, a catfish event where we will be stocking 3,500 lbs of catfish between Lakes 2 through 7. We also only have one more night fishing event and that will be on August 23rd. Make sure to add those dates to the calendar. Catfish have been biting well on stinkbait, mackerel, shrimp, and nightcrawlers.

 

The bass bite has slowed down a bit due to the heat but still some action. Definitely recommend targeting the early morning or late afternoon windows for the best results. Anglers have been seeing success with senkos, topwater baits, and jigs.
