The trout were biting in Boat Dock Cove and Senior Shore earlier in the week before heading east again. Rainbow powerbait has been working well along with small jigs and

spoons. This upcoming week’s plant is the third of four consecutive plants.

The catfish are still biting, especially at the West Buoy Line. Sam Onn of City Heights caught a 58.40# blue cat at the west buoys Thursday using cut mackerel dipped in hog wild. Lake Wohlford cats prefer mackerel, chicken liver, or shrimp.

Black Crappie can be found in the early mornings underneath the Crappie Float. They bite best on crappie jigs or live golden shiners.

Largemouth Bass gravitate toward structure and react well to swimbaits and dark colored plastics.
