Sunday Offshore Report

  • The Polaris Supreme checked in from their 4 day trip with 103 Bluefin Tuna! They have been excellent grade with the majority in the 100lb range with a few stand outs weighing in over 200lbs!
  • The Pacific Voyager returned this afternoon from a 2 day with 31 Bluefin Tuna ranging from 100lbs to 170lbs along with 12 Yellowtail.
  • The Aztec also returned this afternoon from a 2 day with 12 Bluefin Tuna and 8 Yellowtail.

San Diego Full Day

  • The San Diego finished up their Full Day Coronado Islands trip with 10 Yellowtail, 13 Barracuda, and 104 Calico Bass. Come prepared with a 25lb live bait rod and a heavier setup to fish a yo yo jig on 40/50lb. For terminal tackle have an assortment of 1/4 - 3/4 oz rubber core or sliding egg sinkers with #2 hooks.

Sea Watch 3/4 Day

  • The Sea Watch 3/4 Day trip finished up their day with 77 Calico Bass, 16 Bonito, 9 Barracuda, 7 Whitefish, 5 Sand Bass, 4 Sheephead, and 1 Rockfish. The Sea Watch is a definite run for their 3/4 day trips through Friday! Come on down for some great inshore action. Rod Rentals and fishing license are available at check-in.

New Seaforth 1/2 Day

  • The New Seaforth has been enjoying fun fishing lately, with outstanding Calico Bass action. Today's AM 1/2 day had a nice mix of 36 Calico Bass and 27 Sand Bass along with a flurry of Bonito. The PM trip had a solid afternoon returning with 2 Yellowtail, 40 Bonito, 10 Barracuda, 112 Calico Bass, 32 Sand Bass, 5 Whitefish, 1 Sculpin, and 1 White Seabass. For the best success, bring a 20–30 lb live bait setup along with a selection of plastics for targeting the Calico bass. Be sure to make your reservations early, as trips can fill up quickly. Rod rentals and fishing licenses are available at check-in.

Saturday Night Twilight

  • The New Seaforth Twilight trip finished with 55 calico bass (200 released), 33 sand bass (25 sand bass), 3 sheephead, 18 rockfish, 5 sculpin, and 6 whitefish. We are a definite run for tonight's twilight and have a very light load. The last few nights has been excellent bass fishing with a nice mix of quality calico and sand bass hitting the deck! Bring those plastics and your favorite chovie rod and come have a action packed night on the water.
