Great Day of Fishing! Many of the youngsters participating in the Youth Derby had limits by 10 a.m. It was great fishing despite the wind and rain. Limits were taken both on shore and in boats. The 8.5 pound trout was taken the next morning. The best spots were on the other side of the Lake, Half Moon Bay, and next to the Fishing Pier. The bass bite is moderate. The catfish bite is very good back by Boulder Bay. The bluegill bite is slow. The water temperature is at 56 degrees.
