COOL BUT CLEAR, SUNNY DAYS HAVE MADE FOR SOME SPECTACULAR FISHING PRETTY MUCH ALL OVER THE LAKE

MT. LASSEN BROUGHT US 1000 POUNDS OF RAINBOWS AND WILL BE BRINGING US ANOTHER 1000 POUNDS OF THEIR EMERALD TROUT. SHOULD BE INTERESTING TO SEE HOW THESE FISH ARE TO CATCH.

Jess Ranch delivered 1,200 lbs of trout on Monday. Fishing has been terrific. Mt. Lassen is bringing 1,000 lbs this week. So much for spring. As I sit here writing this it has been snowing for about 10 hours. The pear and plum trees have been in full bloom and will probably freeze tonight. But that is life in the country.
