MT LASSEN HAS DELIVERED 1000 POUNDS OF THEIR EMERALD TROUT THIS WEEK. FISHING SHOULD BE EXCELLENT.

ASK THE RANGER ABOUT OUR FREQUENT FISHER CARD AND DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE FREE FISHING CLASS HELD EVERY SATURDAY MORNING AT 10 AM.

PRIOR TO MEMORIAL DAY WE WILL BE STOCKING 5 TAGGED, TROPHY SIZE TROUT. THESE TROPHY TROUT WILL BE COMING FROM MT LASSEN ALONG WITH A 1000 POUNDS OF EMERALD TROUT. IF YOU CATCH A TAGGED TROUT PLEASE BRING IT TO THE TACKLE SHOP AND YOU COULD WIN A FREE BOAT RENTAL AND PERMITS.

Jay Blaylock was fishing for Bass at the South End when he hooked into a record setting Catfish. The Cat weighed 32.5 lbs and was caught on a Huddleston swim bait. Congratulations Jay! The DFG brought in 1,000 lbs. of trout this week and we are expecting 1,200 lbs. from Mt Lassen next week. The transfer pump is on and transferring water from the East Lake so fishing the Pump House Cove is the best right now. There is a free fishing class every Saturday at 10:00 AM at the launch ramp.
