THE FISHING REMAINS EXCELLENT. THE WEATHER IS COOPERATING. LOVELY CALM SUNNY DAYS AND THE WATER IS PLENTY COLD TO KEEP THE TROUT INTERESTED.

THE LAKE IS OPEN EVERY DAY AT 6 AM

ON SUNDAY AT 1 PM THERE WILL BE A FREE NATURE HIKE GUIDED BY RANGER MIKE NOONAN. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN THE GROUP TELL THE RANGER AT THE TACKLE SHOP. SHOULD BE PRETTY INTERESTING AS NATURE IS BUSTING OUT ALL OVER.

Fishing has been terrific. Jess Ranch stocked us with 1700 pounds of Rainbows on Wednesday. The load included quite a few large trophy trout. The weather is finally becoming warmer for us sun worshipers. Nice to not be cold all the time. DON'T FORGET THE FREE FISHING CLASS WHICH IS HELD EVERY SATURDAY AT 10 AM AT THE LAUNCH RAMP. Trophy Trout to 14 lbs and larger recently planted at Cuyamaca

Fishing has been fantastic at Lake Cuyamaca. Mt. Lassen stocked the lake with trophy trout that are 14 pounds or larger as well as 5 tagged trout last week. So far only 2 of the tagged trout have been cought. The tagged trout will win you a nice lake prize when you turn it in to the tackle shop.
