Bill Cavanaugh called in late Saturday with this report on their first fishing day, "We had a very, very good day of fishing. We had great Bluefin tuna fishing, we had quite a few good Yellowfin tuna mixed in and we got a couple real big albacore, we got a little bit of Yellowtail, we got a couple Dorado. It was an exceptional day of fishing. We had a great time, we had good weather. The weather has been on the windy and the choppy side here, but it was really nice fishing down here.

We will be jogging up the line now, we are going to fish within one day range. We are pretty excited about it, there were guys up here on one day fishing that actually had decent Bluefin fishing. I know that there have been quite a bit of fish seen in this area but it hasn't bit. It sounded like there were quite a few guys who caught decent fish up here today. We have heard that some one day guys have been able to bring back 30 to 80 fish. We are excited about that because we have some one day trips coming up. We have a one day trip coming up on the weekend. We had to move a little bit of our schedule around."

Our final fish count for this trip; we...... Read More

We got on a school of Yellowfin tuna in the afternoon that bit really, really good, about as good as you would want it for quite a period of time. And then it backed off a little bit, but it stuck with the boat it stayed with us all the way until dark. It was really cool, we were catching fish all the...... Read More
