Hello Pacific Queen Anglers,
As fortunate as we have been this season for once luck was not on our side. We arrived on the Central Coast just as the first winter storm hit, destroying what had been a very good run on Albacore. Anglers had been catching Albacore for almost two months in good quantity. Although we were able to scratch at a few fish the high winds and rough seas were enough to change the water conditions and scatter the fish.
This morning I got a call from our good friend Jim Hughes on the Cortez and he told me about the excellent Yellow Fin Tuna fishing he experienced yesterday. These fish ranged from 20-25 lbs. and were biting. He and a few other boats in the area had limit style fishing on these baby giants and it looked like there was an enormous volume of fish.
In light of this news and our bad timing on the Central Coast we have decided to move the boat back to San Diego and start running 1.5 day trips out of Fisherman's Landing. We will start running this Tuesday the 25th of October. We will be leaving at 7p.m. to insure that we get you on the fish early. We would not be making this move for nothing. This is some of the best Fall fishing in years. DON'T MISS OUT!
Upcoming Schedule
Tuesday October 25th 1.5 day trip 7p.m.
Friday October 28th 1.5 day trip 7p.m.
Sunday October 30th 1.5 day trip 7p.m.
To get signed up call Fisherman's Landing at 619-221-8500.
