Here at Fisherman's landing we are looking forward to a great season in 2012. We do have some changes going on down here at the Landing that we wanted to keep you up to date on. As always you can give us a call in the office anytime with any questions you may have.
The Dolphin
Fisherman's Landing is happy to welcome the Dolphin as a great addition to our fleet. The Dolphin will be running half day trips daily, leaving at 6:30am and 1pm.
Captain Jason Coz has been on and around boats since he was a kid and is now ready to bring his top notch experience to Fisherman's Landing. Previously out of Seaforth, Jason is excited to now be running out of San Diego bay.
The price of the trip is $44 for Adults and $34 for Children, Seniors and the Military. We have tackle available for rental, so all you need to do is show up!
The Fortune
Another exciting addition to our world-class sport fishing fleet is the Fortune. The Fortune's owner-operator, Capt. Bruce Smith, brings with him a wealth of experience. You may recognize Capt. Bruce from his time on the Shogun, Royal Polaris, Searcher, and the Royal Star.
The Fortune is 65' x 20' and sleeps up to 24 passengers, with two staterooms, air conditioning, shower, upgraded salon, and full service galley. The Fortune is equipped with spray refrigeration to keep your catch cold and fresh.
The Fortune will be available for open party and charter trips out of Fisherman's Landing during the summer offshore season. Check out their website or give us a call at 619-221-8500 with any questions.
The Fleet Gears Up for 2012
The excitement around the Landing leading into the 2012 season is infectious. After a sub par fishing season in 2011, everyone is ready for a nice long summer of Albacore, Bluefin, Yellowfin and maybe a few Yellowtail to top it off. All the boats are wrapping up their boat work and starting to put trips online.
One change to the permit process this year is the addition of Migratory Permits required by the Mexican government. Be sure when you are booking a trip this year that you are aware of where you will be fishing and if one of these permits will be required. We do have these permits here for purchase at the Landing, so don't worry about tracking them down. If you have any further questions on this process, please give us a call here in the office.
