Mark Larson called in to let us know about the fishing for Seaforth boats, "I wanted to tell everybody about the awesome fishing we had here at Seaforth. A morning 1/2 Day boat caught 21 Yellowtail, a White Seabass and 30 Barracuda. These Yellowtail are in the 20 to 30 lb. class. They lost another 50 Yellowtail to catch that 21. That's a better than 70 hook to land 21 fish. Great, great fishing.

Yesterday they had a dozen in the morning with the same scenario. So tomorrow morning we have both the New Seaforth and the Sea Watch going fishing on the morning 1/2 Day trips. We are trying to lighten the loads up so we can get a better fish per rod average.

"Talking about the Tuna Trips here guys, I just got off the dispatch with Jody Morgan on the Voyager. He is only fishing about 80 miles which is well within 1 Day Tuna Trip Range. He has 7 guys on a 1.5 Day Trip. They have limits of Yellowtail and he has 19 Bluefin Tuna for only 7 guys. The Bluefin are an average of 20 to 30 lbs. but he has a fish pushing 40 lbs. Like I said he is only fishing 80 miles which is well within 1 Day Range. Very, very good fishing for the little Voyager, 19 Bluefin and limits of Yellowtail for 7 guys.

"The Pacific Voyager is coming hom from a 2.5 Day Trip. He has 109 Bluefin Tuna, 4 Yellowfin Tuna a couple of Mahi and a Yellowtail. Talking to Captain Mark Oronoz aboard the Pacific Voyager about this trip on the dispatch he said these fish are moving 10 to 20 miles each day to the north. So it is getting closer to us by the day. It just proves the point about Jody Morgan catching his fish at 80 miles.

"Guys, we have a 1.5 Day Trip leaving tomorrow night at 7:00 o'clock. It is only $295 per person. I also have 2 openings aboard the Pacific Voyager. It's a rare chance to get on this boat, as it is normally a charter boat. That's a 3 Day Trip leaving tomorrow at 8:00 o'clock."
