Trout It been a sour two weeks as the weather has kept the anglers away in droves. The hearty and faithful that came out were rewarded with some of Lassens finest. Jim Alley and Lance Wighee came from Coronado to fool a few 'bows with a Fire Tiger Rapala while trolling the narrows. Their largest was 4lb 2oz. Chandler Self from Brawley limited using green Powerbait in Geezer cove.

Bass A Bass was reported this week. That's right; Rodney McNabb of Ramona managed an 8lb 4oz along Geezer cove with a 'Pig n Jig'. We had a few reports of smaller bass being caught and released while casting for trout.

Catfish A drought of cats were not reported.

Blue Gill A No Pan fish were reported this week.

Crappie The crappie bite has slowed up to zip.

Carp These fish are saving themselves for another time.
