Drew Card checked in to tell us about his last trip on the Pacific Queen. "It started off a little slow but then we ended with a bang. We had nice Bluefin tuna fishing yesterday. Our 1st stop of the year for Yellowfin tuna, we had Yellows, and Dorado. All-in-all a very good trip. Our jackpot fish went 66 lbs. All 3 places, 1st, 2nd & 3rd were all in the 60's. After that we had a handful of 50 pounders. Then it went down from there, but a lot of good quality fish. The Yellowfin we tumbled on were 25 to 30 lbs. I think things are really looking good for the next month. A couple of months really.

"Our trips are booking up quickly. We only have 3, maybe 4 trips left in August that have space available. So if you want to get on the boat you need to sign up soon. For more information or to make a reservation go to the Pacific Queen Website or call Fisherman's Landing at 619-221-8500."

Drew Card checked in with this report for the Pacific Queen. "On day 2 of our 3.5 Day Charter we are having a good day out here. We are putting a good score together. We caught 40 tuna today. We're not whaling on them by any means, but we are scratching at them. There is still a good sign of tuna around they are just not biting. So we'll make a move tomorrow. "Anyway if you want to get on the...... Read More
