This is the first time that I fished on the Eldorado. I finally met Captain Eddie Moreno in person. I gave Eddie the SFR T-Shirts from Chad for the crew. We had a few passengers and crew members that were still stuck in traffic so we waited. I started doing the raffle for the passengers with the help of SFR John Thompson. We gave a lot of goodies from Fishworks, Seaguar and SFR T-shirts. Almost everyone got something.

We finally left the dock around 8:30 pm. We headed out to about 30 miles. I got up at 5:30 and heard that a couple anglers caught two Giant Squid. We started rolling at 6:30 with four anglers on the troll rotation. It was not too long before we got a hook up and I hooked on fresh Sardine. We ended up with 8 Albies on deck for our first stop. At times Captain Eddie would meter the fish underneath the boat. Then one time water around us erupted as Albacore that blasted through our chum and charged the boat. It seemed that everyone was hooked at once.

I can't say enough good things about the Eldorado and her crew. Captain Eddie Moreno helped a lot of our beginners on our boat. He made sure everyone got hooked up. Deckhands, Matt & Billy, did a great job making nice gaff shots and chumming up the waters. Thank you for the extra effort, guys! Although we lost a lot of fish, everybody still enjoyed the trip. Our cooks, Dave and David, are the life of the party!!! They sure made us some tasty food. Overall this trip was a success. I would like to thank Captain Eddie Moreno and the entire Eldorado crew for the exceptional effort.

Total fish count for the day with 30 anglers: 31 Albacore, 2 Bluefin Tuna and 2 Giant Squid. Hey, guys, if you want a copy of your picture just email at sfredgar@sportfishingreport.com. Have a great day. Catch you later.
