Hi Everyone,
Happy Independence weekend.
The Ranger 85 has transitioned to San Diego and is offshore as this email hits your inbox.
We are extremely excited with what we are catching, especially noting that it's ONLY the first week of July!
Bluefin, Yellowfin and Yellowtail are all in the scores, and I suspect as the water continues to warm, Dorado will be making their presence known in the coming days.
The Ranger 85 has over 70 Yellowfin onboard this morning, and all day to fish.
There are schools of tuna being seen in just about every direction the fleet is taking, making this one of the biggest spreads of tuna we have seen in years.
Anticipating this for the season, we diversified our schedule to accommodate yours.
We are offering trips from 1 to 3.5 days in duration.
We proudly offer both Limited Load and Ultra Limited Load trips for your angling success.
I firmly believe we will see a strong return to the 1 to 1.5 day trips as these schools make their way ever closer to San Diego.
For a full line up of Limited Load Trips onboard the Ranger 85 click here.
For a full line up of Ultra Limited Load Trips onboard the Coral Sea click here.
I am certain as this weekend progresses, with the great weather and the fantastic scores coming in, these trips will start to fill, so make your plans today.
The season is underway, and we are in the mix.
The Coral Sea begins fishing offshore this week on July 11 with a 1.5 Day Ultra Limited Load trip...LIMITED to ONLY 17!
While this trip is currently SOLD OUT, there are many more to choose from on our schedule.
The Ranger 85 has several open trips in the coming days that are LIMITED LOAD with space available as well.
Please note, contact our office direct at 619 997 9993 to get in on a stand by list if the trip you're looking for is full.
We at Ranger 85/Coral Sea Sportfishing are dedicated to getting you offshore fishing, and will work our hardest to get you on the trip you want!
Don't miss out.
The start of any season is always the most exciting with massive schools moving in and HOT ACTION.
Kelp patties, jig strikes, sonar schools...textbook TUNA FISHING is happening RIGHT NOW.
Its time to head offshore where the real action of summer is taking place.
You can reserve your trips by reviewing our complete schedule online at either Ranger 85.com or CoralSeaSportfishing.com
You can also contact our office direct and speak to Randy about any of our trips. 619 997 9993.
Have a large group that wants to fish together? Contact our office today and let Randy find a date for a custom charter or a block of reservations on one of our trips.
2014 is off to a great start, and things are heating up fast.
See you onboard,
Capt. Frank

Hi Anglers, This past week the seabass continued to bite, but with scores that were up and down like a thrill ride at an amusement park. Largely due to weather, anglers tested their skills and patience as they put their tackle to the test. Windy conditions kept the fleet tied up a couple days, and those who ventured forth were forced to search new areas for the elusive game fish. All in all, the week was productive and the bite continues. There is still good...... Read More
