Saturday update:

Both the New Seaforth and Sea Watch ran morning half day trips and each boat returned with 21 yellowtail. The Pacific Voyager on the first of a three day trip had 61 bluefin tuna up to 50lbs. The San Diego is returning from a three quarter day with 13 bluefin tuna, 1 yellowtail and 1 bonito.

Rock 'n' Roll Marathon

If you are fishing or Whale Watching this Sunday (5/31), especially on any morning trip, please be aware the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon will be taking place. While they do their best to minimize the impact, there will be road closures. You should take this in to account and be prepared to take alternate routes to get here. Give yourself extra time to make sure you arrive on time and not miss your trip. While Sea World Drive may be open, it might not be the optimal route to take, and may be backed up. If you are travelling 5 South, exiting at Grand/Garnet may be a better option. For more detailed information, check their website. They have all the road closure information and alternate routes available.
