Sea Adventure 80
Home Port: San Diego, CA
Landing: H&M Landing in San Diego Harbor
Full time Captains: Scott McDaniels, Gavin Harbour, Billy Santiago, Paul Pennello, Bobby Medland,
The rest of the crew: Deck boss Roman Rodriguez, Chef Johnny Aerosmith
The crew all love what they do, watching customers grind in fish is lots of fun. Finding big schools of fish is always fun for every crewman and customer.
You can hand a riffle with a scope on it to a guy and take him hunting and that alone is not going to make the guy a hunter.
It takes years of experience, an animal like drive to keep pushing on until there is an ultimate Score!
Even with years and years of experience only a few teams poses wisdom and a keen fish sense.
Some guys are lucky and some guys are really lucky they say. Don’t believe that due due.
The fish counts and the full loads of happy customers speak quietly but count the most.
Our Team has been together for years now and every year our Sea Adventure 80 team keeps getting better. We know we are number 2 it only makes us work harder every day. Some say we are number one, we know there are others right on our tail breathing hard too. It keeps us on our game.
Sometimes it’s like the super bowl out there and it take a whole team effort to finish the deal.
Example: The fish are down at 165 miles, the fish are biting Full speed and they moved 18 miles from the day before. In the morning they are on sonar and birds sign, in the afternoon and early evening they are only on flat spots, shiners, and sonar. Your Satellite link says the warm water edge moved up and out.
We got fantastic bait and lots of it! We’re hungry for some good fishing, bent rods, and a long kill.
Just on the horizon at 6 miles Billy and Gavin yell out “Tune left 25 degrees and hold that heading”
It’s a tern bird school with breaking fish! Holly Shit!! It’s what we are looking for and the school stays up for the 25 minutes it takes to get there.
The sonar lights up and fills the monitor screen the crew is already on deck and the fish are boiling!
Seconds later it’s HOOK UP, FRESH-ON, More bait! Gaff in the corner, gaff on the portside and were in the beginning of a 6 hour Bonanza!
Sea Adventure 80 customer have come to expect good fishing every trip and they are checking out the internet before we return to port.
We know you know there is no bull here, just a 100 percent effort every trip day in and day out.
Most the time we feel really good and once in a while we are short of our goals. Fish do have tails and sometime they go down or make a 60 mile jump. That’s a part of fishing too.
We are having some fantastic fishing right now and the long term outlook is very good.
Call H&M Landing and tell them you want on: THE REAL Sea Adventure 80 with the Fish Studs.
See you soon
Scott McDaniels
