It was another good week of bass fishing for the most part, as fish have been moving up looking to spawn. Jerk baits, senkos, drop shot, and swimbaits all took their share of largemouth. The bite should steadily improve with some consistent warm air temperatures. Panfish have yet to show up in any numbers, as only a handful of crappie were checked in at the marina last week. With only a few people targeting catfish, reports were hard to come by. It was last known that the backs of coves were holding some good numbers of 20 to 40lb. blues, with cut mackerel the bait of choice.
