CATFISH
Catfish are hitting on night crawlers from the Cloister Cove shoreline. The bait shop is stocked and ready for night fishing season to begin!
BASS
Anglers are landing bass on spinnerbaits between Hermit Cove and Cactus Patch. Another popular spot is casting off the T-dock.
PANFISH
Eagle Point and Cloister Cove are the top producing locations for bluegill and redear. Rig your line with a small colored jig and meal worm, you are sure to catch a panfish by the tules.
SPRING PHOTO CONTEST
There are only a few weeks left to get your candid shots for the Spring Photo Contest! Any photos taken at the lake between March - May is eligible. For detailed information and to download the entry form, please visit www.lakejennings.org/ photocontest. Submissions due by midnight on May 31st, 2017.
CATCHES OF THE WEEK
Dakota Landry and Ethan Daffern of Rancho Penasquitos caught a total of 28 bluegill. The largest weighed in at 1 lb. 4 oz. All were caught off Eagle Point with meal worms.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Catfish Opener will be May 26-28 with night fishing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 a.m. - midnight! 2,000 lbs. of catfish will be stocked for this event. A fullsized lantern is required after 8 p.m. Rental boats available on a first come, first served basis.
Night Fishing will be every Friday and Saturday night beginning Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day.
The Campground Kiosk always has plenty of firewood and ice for purchase to meet your camping needs. At the kiosk we also sell Magical Flames colorant for a brilliant campfire display! Are you an Active Duty service member? We have military pricing for boat rentals and fishing permits. Just show your ID at the register to receive a discounted rate!
