The water temperature is staying right around 78-80 degrees. The Largemouth Bass are still hitting well. Derek Christman from La Mesa caught a bass that was between 8 and 10 pounds but he released it before it could be officially weighed. He caught it on a frog in the San Carlos arm. The Panfish bite is a little slow but but some nice Bluegill and Redear are being caught off the pier using live worms. The Catfish bite has been good with Peter Voce from Alpine catching several nice Catfish recently including a 15 and a 19 pounder.
