The bass fishing has been hit, or miss for the most part last week, with seemingly most of the population schooled up and chasing silversides in open water. These fish are keyed on the small bait, and "matching the hatch" has been the secret to success. Bluegill still taking worms along the grass edges, either under a bobber, or split shotted. Catfish have been missing for atleast a month.

San Vicente ReservoirBass fishign has been fair to good on drop shot, Texas rigs, and ned rigs fished 20' to 30' in make lake areas. In the a.m. hours there has still been a lot of breaking fish, although these fish are keyed on there bait and have been tough to catch.
