Early morning hours there are a few breaking fish in open water. These fish have been difficult to catch, you're better off concentrating your efforts in 25ft-40ft with Texas rigs, jigs, and drop shotted worms. Most of the largies have been 1.5 lbs to 2.5 lbs with the occasional 4 or 5 pounders coming in. Hand size Bluegill are still on tap, with a 1/2 a crawler and a split shot the best way to get the panfish. Other than a few red ear mixed in with the gills all other species were no shows last week.
