The bluegill have started to come on pretty strong this past week, and the anglers that targeted them were rewarded with fish to 2lbs. weighed in at the dock. There were also a few red ear mixed in with the gills, both species were biting red worms and nightcrawlers. As usual with the panfish , locations were closely guarded. Largemouth are still all over the bank, but the better fish have been holding in the 15’ to 20’ of water. Fly lined plastics, rip baits, and small swimbaits accounted for most of the catches. Catfish went unreported.
