The bass bite is still going strong here, as most anglers finding plenty of biters. The lake level is as high as its ever been, providing a lot of cover on the bank. Senkos, jigs, top waters, drop shots, etc., all produced well. Average fish around 2lbs., with quite a few 4 to 6 lbs. largemouth being caught as well. The bluegill and redear, still on top for anyone targeting them. Mealworms and nightcrawlers have been the best baits for the panfish. The backs of coves and creek channels the best locations to catch them. Catfish went unreported last week.
