The half day trips aboard the Chubasco2 has been nothing short of awesome rock cod fishing. Captains David Yumori and Anthony (Tiny) Magelietto have had some of the best red fishing we have seen in some years. Along with the reds they have also been catching rockfish, white fish, sheephead and an occasional ling cod. The kids are back in school, the teachers are back to the classrooms and 90% of the tourist are back home. So now's the time to come out with light loads and fill the freezer with tasty rockfish.
