Catfish action is good particularly at the west buoy line. We have recently expanded our bait options to include catfish bait. We now offer frozen; chicken liver, mackerel, and anchovies.

Crappie are being caught by boaters trolling for them. Crappie jigs and live golden shiners are the top baits. Crappie prefer the cover of shade making overcast June mornings a plus.

Small to medium sized largemouth bass are being caught on dark colored plastics or crawdads. Bass gravitate towards rocky outcroppings where they can ambush smaller fish.
