Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca. The Lake is full and continuing to fill the East lake. The fish bite has been good all week.

Best Trout Spots continue to be Lone Pine, Chambers Park and the Dike area.

Notables: Marie Barthal, 11 years old caught a 4lb 12oz trout at Pumphouse cove on a nightcrawler. Nevileen Lee, 8 years old of Lakeside caught 10 fish at Fletcher Cove with his grandpa. His first fishing experience. Peggy Frank of Irvine caught a 20", 3 1/2lb trout at Lone Pine on Thursday, using a worm on the bottom. Lots of people caught their limits last weekend.

Ranger Charlie will be giving the free fishing class on Saturday.

The DECONTAMINATION WASH IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE VESSELS BEFORE A LAUNCH. A fee is charged for the wash down. (Boats, motors, float tubes and waders to be washed.) More info under boat wash on the website.
